Production and Characteristics of Geotextiles
To Separate
The Rodewisch brand name of ROGEO geotextiles are used to prevent the unwanted mixing of various fill materials among themselves, or with the ground. Uses are found in street and highway sub-base, road repairs, railway construction, dam, dike and canal construction, land fill construction and closure landscaping and building of sport fields and riding rings.
To Filter
ROGEO geotextiles hold back the ground and let through liquids which are above the filter level.
To Drain
ROGEO geotextiles absorb rain, ground water and other liquids or gases and draw them off. Uses are found in disposal sites, under roadways, tunnels and parking lots.
To Reinforce
ROGEO geotextiles resist tensile forces between soil layers and improve their mechanical characteristics. Uses are found in construction where the bearing power of the soil is low and for holding back retaining walls.
To Protect
ROGEO geotextiles protect synthetic liners, coated construction elements, pipes and foundations from mechanical / physical damage. The degree of protection is established by the geotextile weight, mass and its degree of puncture resistance. Standard weights are from 180g/m2 to 2000 g/m2, in 5-m widths
